On January 8, 2022, Huaxin Cement Narayani Pvt Ltd. successfully started operation of a cement clinker production line with capacity of 3,000 tons/day.

The project is a great achievement from the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and the first factory invested by Huaxin Cement in South Asia.

The project was jointly invested by Huaxin Cement and Vidia Industrial Group and started construction on March 1, 2019.

The construction progress was greatly impeded for reasons like catastrophic floods and COVID-19.

However, the employees of Huaxin Cement in Nepal stood fast to their posts. While safeguarding the life, health and safety of personnel under effective pandemic prevention and control, our employees used their best to promote the orderly construction of mines, electric power, roads and other projects facing extremely difficult circumstances like poor circulation of manpower, materials and equipment. The project was finally completed with high quality and high standards and put into trial production.

The project recorded an annual output of 1 million tons of high-quality cement after operation based on world-leading production and environmental protection technologies. Huaxin Cement will further build the project into a benchmark with outstanding performance, environmental friendliness and excellent quality that can help local enterprises achieve leap-forward development and directly or indirectly create more than 1,000 jobs for the benefit of local employment.
